A BetOnline review of Tampa Bay’s season will point to disappointment as the Buccaneers were thought to be a breakout team, but instead have gone five steps backwards. They’ll host a Dallas team ready to take out some frustration after giving away two straight games.
Cowboys Buccaneers Odds - Saturday, 8:20 PM ET
The Cowboys (7-6) had a field-goal attempt blocked at the end of regulation of a 37-34 loss at home to the Giants, but Dallas was only in that position after giving up 15 points in the final 3:14 of the game and their BetOnline odds are in danger after two losses in a row, losses that could have been avoided. Tony Romo had a great game and Felix Jones slotted in for an injured DeMarco Murray, who is now gone for the season, but the Cowboys’ defense let them down.
The Buccaneers (4-9) lost for the seventh straight game after a 41-14 rout at the hands of Jacksonville on the road, and if you turn the ball over seven times, you’re not going to win many games. Josh Freeman is playing hurt and hasn’t played well all season, but the Bucs have regressed in all facets of the game and it doesn’t look good for head coach Raheem Morris.
Dallas is a 7-point favorite on the road in Tampa, and they’re facing a team that has covered the spread only once in their last six games. The Cowboys have their problems, but Tampa Bay won’t be able to take advantage and Dallas should cover the sports betting online spread easily.
