A BetOnline review of the NFL season so far would show a close battle in the NFC East, and Dallas and the New York Giants have distanced themselves in the division before two meetings to wrap up the season, the first of which comes this Sunday night in Dallas.

Giants Cowboys Odds - Sunday, 8:20 PM ET

The Giants (6-6) had jumped to the front of the line with those who use bookie software, but they’ve lost four in a row after falling 38-35 at home to Green Bay and it’s slowly starting to get away from coach Tom Coughlin and his team. Granted, they’ve played the best quarterbacks in the league over the past two weeks in New Orleans’ Drew Brees and the Packers’ Aaron Rodgers (on a short week), but the Giants need a massive effort to stay alive and tie the Cowboys in the East.

The Cowboys (7-5) continue to struggle in the desert, losing in Arizona for the third straight visit in a 19-13 loss in overtime, snapping a four-game winning streak. Two of their last three games have gone to overtime and they edged Miami on a last-second field goal on Thanksgiving (ironically, it was a missed field goal that sent the Arizona game to overtime), and Dallas has to bounce back quickly this weekend.

Dallas is a 3-point home favorite over the Giants, who are 3-2 SU and ATS in their last five trips to “Big D”, with three games going over the posted total. Just when you count out the Giants, they come back, and when you start to trust Dallas, they usually stumble. Take the Giants for the sports betting online upset this weekend.
